Lois Sue Roberts, 69, of Wellington, died Monday, February 27, 2017 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain after a long illness. Born on October 31, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Phyllis (nee McClain) Auble and Robert Hall. Sue's father Robert died when she was a young girl and her mother married the late Harold "Jake" Auble who raised her as his own. She attended Keystone High School and graduated from Wellington High School in 1965. Sue worked for Whirlaway in Wellington for many years, retiring in 1988. She liked spending time in her flower garden. Sue and her husband both enjoyed riding their motorcycles together. They spent many summers at Rustic Lakes camping with friends. Sue collected angel figurines and anything related to angels. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, wife, and grandmother. Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years Ivan S. Roberts Sr.; children Ivan (Tina) Roberts, Irene (Ted) Harris, and Lisa (Mike Dial) Roberts, all of Wellington; grandchildren Joshua and Nicholas Roberts, Devin (Jessica) Hendricks, Amber Harris, Shayne Brady, Alyssa Roberts, and Jessie Pritt; siblings Butch and John Hall, Guin Gregory, Jan Adkins, Jackie Hartman, Wendy Parobek, Leonard and Tom Auble; and mother-in-law Elsie Roberts. Sue was preceded in death by her beloved grandson Nicholas who always remained in her heart, siblings Lynn McMahon, and Dan Hall, sister-in-law sue Stocking, father-in-law Stirl Roberts, and nephew Jake Hartman. Friends and family will be received on Friday, March 3, from 3p.m. to 6 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington.
