Lois Mae Yerace, 80, of Wellington died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 in Las Vegas NV. She was born in Bentleyville PA on March 31, 1934 to the late Joseph and Myrtle Skerbetz. Lois was a graduate of Bentleyville Senior High and she moved to the Wellington area in the early 60's and spent most of her life there. Lois enjoyed collecting Hummel figurines. She loved animals and liked to watch the birds, especially hummingbirds. Lois is survived by her son Tom (Yan) Yerace of Las Vegas, granddaughters Britnei Yerace, Jordan Isabel Yerace, and grandson Cadence Guo; great-granddaughter Maria Yerace; sister Kathleen (Jack) Fillingham of Akron; nieces and nephews Jack, Sherrey, Greg, Bob and Sally Skerbetz, and Cathy and Buddy Bellflower. She is also survived by her cousin Darleen (Andy) Fahey who helped to care for her. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Dominick Yerace, brothers Francis (Joanne) Skerbetz and Bob (Nikki) Skerbetz. Friends and family will be received on Monday October 27, from 6-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main, Wellington, 44090, where services will be held on Tuesday beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
