Collins, Ohio - Lola M. Gordon, 85, of Collins, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, early Monday morning, June 13, 2016 in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, Ohio. She was born July 27, 1930 in Gassaway, West Virginia, to the late Peter and Callie (Boone) Morris, and lived in this area most of her life. Lola was a member of the Maple City Church of God, Norwalk, Ohio, and was a loving Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed charity work, loved her church family and the Lord, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Lola is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gerald W. "Jerry" Gordon of Collins, Ohio, by her daughters, Patricia A. "Patty" (Richard) Hess of Oberlin, Ohio, Suzi (Mark) Amos of Elyria, Ohio, Cindy C. (Ronn) Walter of Tiffin, Ohio, and Karen D. Gordon (Jeff Shepherd) of Collins, Ohio, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and by her dog, Ki. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Forest M. Morris, Dale W. Morris, Charles E. Morrris, by her twin, Lewis R. Morris, and Thomas L. Morris, and by her sisters, Magelena Ford, and Geneva Nehls. Lola's family would like to thank Hospice for their compassion and care. Friends may call on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 2:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Meadow Green Memorial Park Cemetery, Bogart Road, Huron, Ohio. Rev. Ken Conley will officiate.
