Lorita K. Morrow, 77, of Huntington, died Sunday, May 19, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 4, 1935 in Urbana to the late Walter L. and Freda Mae (nee Rideout) Sprinkle Sr. Lorita lived in the Huntington area most of her life.
Lorita worked at the Truck Stop of America, for Morgans Meat Market, and Ames in Oberlin. She was an active member of the United Church of Huntington, involved with the Ladies Aid, and was Chairman of the Prayerwave. She was also a member of the Grange Club, Spencer Senior Citizens, and Pomona. In her free time Lorita enjoyed knitting, tending to her flower gardens, watching the hummingbirds and listening to county music. Lorita cherished the time that she spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 60 years, Milford Morrow, children, Sandra Mae (David) Owen of Homerville, Kathy (Dave Allen) Gillette of Elyria, Donna (Greg) Bute of Sullivan, and Milford Eugene (Teresa) Morrow of Spencer, grandchildren Jeffery, Jason, Doug, Denise, Adam, Anthony, Nicholas, and Alicia, and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son David Milford Morrow, siblings Marion Smith, Bertha Williams, and Walter Sprinkle Jr.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, May 22, at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main, Wellington from 5-8 p.m. Services will be held on Thursday beginning at 11 a.m. at the United Church of Huntington, 26677 State Rt 58, Wellington, Rev. Stephen Carmany officiating, burial will follow at Huntington Township Cemetery. Donations in Lorita's memory may be made to the church.
