Louis "Mel" Love, of Greenwich, died Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Twilight Gardens Nursing Home, Norwalk. He was born March 28, 1932, in Akron to the late Bennett and Opal (nee Vance) Love. Mr. Love worked in orthodontics until retirement and liked watching football, hunting with his dogs Coffee and Shelby, listening to country music and watching western movies.

Mr. Love is survived by his wife of 66 years, Beverly (nee Leinweber) Love; 4 children, Glenn Love, Laura Watkins, Bryan (Jackie) Love, and Elizabeth "Libby" Stevens; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Billy Switzer and sister-in-law, Betty Blake. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Bill, Harold and Burt Love and Gary Dobbins.
