Beloved mother and grandmother Louise Jacqueline (Baker) Gossman, age 78, of Wellington, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 8, 2023. Louise grew up in Spencer, Ohio, and graduated from Black River High School in 1962. She married Raymond (Tony) Gossman in 1965, and they made their home in Wellington, Ohio.

During her life, Louise worked for 25 years as a hairdresser at Nancy's beauty salon.  She volunteered her time listening to children read at Westwood Elementary; taught Sunday school to the primary aged children; actively participated in her church; and spent time with family and caring for her three grandchildren.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Ray; son Tim Gossman (Avon, Ohio); son Dan Gossman (Wellington, Ohio); daughter Jacquie Gossman (Dallas, Texas); grandchildren Chandler, Keaton, and McKenna Gossman; and sister Michal "Mickey" Handley (Sullivan, Ohio). She was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine "Jerri" Spies Timko, brothers, Patrick and Daniel Baker.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 11, at First Baptist Church of Wellington. The viewing is at 9:30 a.m. and the service will begin at 10:30 a.m.
