Louise Jump Schneiter, age 93, of New London, died Tuesday, May 6, 1014 at The Laurels Nursing Home, New London after a one year illness. She was born March 31, 1921 in Collins, Ohio, daughter of the late C. Nelson and Mary (Barns) Jump. Louise was a 1939 graduate of Townsend High School and attended The Ohio State University. She had worked at C.E. Ward and Thomas Apparel both in New London. Louise was a member of the Eastern Star and the Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, flowers, painting and reading. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Kathie and Gene Shepherd of New London; 2 grandchildren, Steve (Christine) Shepherd and Keith (Sally) Shepherd; 3 great grandchildren, Jessica, Jenna and Karli Shepherd; She was preceded in death by her husband, John Schneiter, her sister, Kathryn Vogt and her brother, Ira Jump. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Fitchville Cemetery with Rev. Ben Black officiating.
