Lucille B. Wade, 79, of Wellington, died Monday July 4, 2011 surrounded by her family. Lucille was born on July 24, 1931 in Akron to the late Dewey and Martha (nee Hansen) Hornsby. She was a graduate of Akron Garfield High School and moved to the Wellington area in the late 60's. Lucille attended and was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Wellington. She enjoyed Golfing and Bowling. Lucille is survived by her husband of 59 years, Leroy Wade. Survivors also include her daughters, Donna Lee (Ronald) Shobert of Parma, and Yvonne Lynne (Eric) Schick of Rolling Hills CA, and grandchildren Adam and Devon Shobert and Andrew and Brandon Schick. She is also survived by a sister Marilyn Ekstedt. Lucille was preceded in death by her siblings Dewey and Shelby Hornsby and Shirley Putnik. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday July 6, 2011 at Norton Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main, Wellington, from 5-8 p.m. where services will be held on Thursday July 7 at 1 p.m., Rev Dale Heulsman officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington. Donations in Lucille's memory may be given to New Life Hospice 5255 N.
