Lula B. "Lou" Osborne, age 77, passed away December 30, 2020 at ProMedica Flower Hospital in Toledo, Ohio after a short battle with cancer.

Born in Kentucky on October 24, 1943, Lula lived most of her life in New London.  She was a great cook, avid quilter and provided loving day care for many in the area.

Lula is survived by her son, Ronald (Carla) Osborne Sr. of New London, OH and daughter Loretta Harp of Norwalk, OH; sisters, Mable Layne of Chicago, IL, Norma (Ted) Newsome of Wakeman, OH and her brother Julius Hall of Wakeman, OH; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  Family was everything to Lula.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edsel Osborne; parents, Dellia (Bryant) and Linzie Hall Sr.; sisters Julie Keenes, Shirley Tackett, Brenda Newsome and her brother Linzie Hall Jr.

The family will be having a graveside service on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grove Street Cemetery in New London, OH.  Those attending are asked to wear a mask and practice all social distancing guidelines.  Memorials in honor of Lula may be directed to the donor's favorite charity.  Eastman Funeral Home, New London assisted the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be shared at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
