Lynda B. "Bonnie" (nee Crabtree) Bado  passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at home after a lengthy illness. She was born on August 27, 1941, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Arthur and Lorena (nee Russ) Crabtree.

Lynda lived with her family in South Webster, Ohio, before moving to Lorain County and making Wellington her home. She worked for Forrest City in plant and quality control.

Lynda loved traveling and spending time with her children and was an active supporter of M.A.D.D. She also enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, especially hummingbirds and cardinals. Lynda was also very patriotic and always had a spot in her heart for veterans like her father.

Lynda is survived by her children, Brad (Cindy) Bado of Wellington, Cheryl (Tim) Brubaker of Brookneal, VA, and John (Shelly) Bado of Wakeman; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister.

Norton-Eastman Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements and online condolences can be given at www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.  At Lynda's request, there will be no services. Lynda's family suggestions that donations in her memory be made to an organization that supports disabled veterans.
