Mack L. Watts passed away peacefully at the age of 84, on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in New London. He was born on May 29, 1931, in New London, son of the late Marion and Doris (nee Stevens) Watts. Mack was a hard worker and he took pride in his work. At one time he ran the former Marathon Gas Station in New London and later in his career he was a dedicated employee for Jennings and Churella where he served as a job superintendent and carpenter. He retired from the company in 1998. Mack enjoyed traveling with the love of his life, his bride Joan. Before her passing in 2015 they had spent 65 years together. After his retirement the two of them bought a Winnebago, joined the "Buckeye Winnies" travel club, and visited all but 2 states. They spent extra time in Florida, as snow birds each year. Mack loved working in his flower beds, and also enjoyed working on his Model "A" car. Mack was the beloved father to Christopher (Michelle) Watts of New London, Brad (Joey) Watts of Vermilion and Claudia (Les) Gyori of Michigan; grandchildren, Maleigha (Matt) White, Brandon Watts and Sean Watts and 2 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, and wife he was preceded in death by his sister Lois Watts McKee and brother Lane Watts. The visitation for Mack will be held at Eastman Funeral Home in New London from noon until the time of the service, at 2 pm on Friday, February 5, 2016. His interment will follow at Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Mack's honor can be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
