Madeline (nee Pine) Gariss, 93, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017. She was born in Berlin Heights on July 17, 1923. Madeline retired from Cleveland Steel Products of Wellington, now Rockwell, in 1975. She enjoyed flower gardening, canning, sewing and time spent with family. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley (James) Tobin, of LaGrange; grandson, Christopher (Elizabeth) Tobin, of North Ridgeville; granddaughter, Julie (Donald) Danich, of Staunton, VA; 5 great grandchildren, Elizabeth Danich, of Fairfax, VA, Matthew Danich, of Staunton, VA, Benjamin, Sarah and Rebecca Tobin, of North Ridgeville; several nieces and nephews and sister, Rose Farner, of Wellington. She was preceded in death by her parents, James V. and Mary Frances (nee Corrado) Pine; her husband, Kenneth in 2003; brothers, Frank, Dominic and Joseph Pine and sister, Mary Blankenship. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19 from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. service at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
