Mae E. Randleman, age 84, of New London, died Monday, October 15, 2007 at the Rehabilitation & Nursing Center at Firelands, New London after a lengthy illness. She was born July 18, 1923 in New London, daughter of the late Eugene & Birdie (Smith) Evege. She was a lifelong New London resident. Mae was a member of the 2nd Baptist Church, New London for many years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her favorite past time was cooking and caring for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Avearn) Ford of Toledo; 2 sons, Thomas Randleman of Shaker Heights and Dennis Randleman of Norwalk; 3 grandchildren, Carolyn, Patrick and Ronald; 3 great grandchildren; her Sister, Sarah Watts of Lansing, Michigan; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Randleman in 2006, and 3 brothers, and Harold, Norman and Clarence Evege; 3 sisters, Virginia Furcron, Birdie Hinton and Katie Davis. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2007 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London with Pastor Tina Hobbs officiating.
