Marcia Berarducci, 63, of Wellington, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at her home following a valiant battle against cancer. Born in Massillon on October 24, 1946, Marcia lived in the Massillon area until the mid 1970s. She was a 1964 Canton Central Catholic graduate and a 1968 Kent State University graduate. Marcia taught elementary school for 35 years in the Massillon, Mount Vernon and Wellington School Districts. She was a member of Saint Patrick's Catholic Church and enjoyed ceramics and reading. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, James; her two children, James DeBuino Berarducci of Wellington and Corinne (Jeremy) Willets of Cleveland Heights; her mother, Josephine DeBuino and sister, Carol Moustaris of Massillon. She is also survived by three sister-in-laws: Vicky Popovich, Noreen Murray, and Linda Berarducci, and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 1 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington and on Saturday, May 2 from 12 p.m. until the 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 512 N. Main St., Wellington. Burial will be Tuesday, May 5 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Memorial contributions can be directed to the Judy Reed Media Center, 201 S.
