Mardell Y. Zidarin, passed away at Medows At Osborn Park, Huron, Ohio, on Saturday, July 2, 2022.  She was 95 years old and was born August 25, 1926 in Huron County to the late Mae (Wheeler) and Earl Herner.  Mrs. Zidarin live in Toledo for many years working at Toledo Mental Health Center as a RN retiring in 1979 after 30 years, she moved to Norwalk in 2004.

Mrs. Zidarin attend the Bethel Lutheran Church in Toledo, but retained her membership at the St. Peter Lutheran Church Pontiac, Monroeville, Ohio.  She was a former member of the American Legion Post #706 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed crafting, quilting, sewing, and bowling.

Mrs. Zidarin is survived by her son, Joseph (Cindy) Zidarin of Youngsville, NC; son-in-law, James Harris of Huron; 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brother, Randall Herner of Norwalk.    She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Joseph J. Zidarin in 2009; daughter, Joanne Harris; sister, JoAnn Fife.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Pontiac, 1872 Sandhill Road, Monroeville, Ohio 44847 from 10 AM until the time of the service at 12 noon. Burial will follow at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions may be made the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Stein Hospice or to a local food bank in the donor's area.
