Margaret M. McDonald, age 95, of Norwalk, died Tuesday morning at Norwalk Memorial Home. She was born February 15, 1921 in Norwalk, daughter of the late Frank and Agnes (Wise) Doughty. She attended St. Paul Schools. Margaret had worked at Mother's Restaurant in Norwalk many years ago and at Fanny Farmer in Norwalk for several years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Norwalk and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her children, Gregory McDonald of Norwalk, Jeffrey (Barb) McDonald of Norwalk, Kevin (Monica) McDonald of Norwalk, Celeste (Don) Eastman of Greenwich; 11 Grandchildren, Aaron (Lori) Ortner, Amy (Nate) Nolan, Heather (Nick) Graffice, Jenny (Craig) Ridge, Jonathon (Tonya) McDonald, Matt (Lyndsey) McDonald, Betsy (Eric) Dinkins, Jennifer Bundschuh, Katie Bundschuh, Rachel (Sam) Heydinger, Robin (BJ) Harvey; 17 great grandchildren, Douglas and Annabelle Ortner, Isaac, Jillian and Kayla Nolan, Deyer, Hadyn and Emytt Graffice, Molly and Seth Ridge, Logan McDonald, Aaden and Austin McDonald, Kalie McLaughlin, Mason and Tyler Heydinger, Liam Harvey and baby Harvey due in September; her brother, Richard Doughty of Norwalk, brother-in-law, Charles Obermiller of Norwalk; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert H. McDonald in 1980; her brother and sister-in-law, Charles (Bud) and Flossie Doughty; her sister, Anna Mae Obermiller; sister-in-law, Joanne Doughty. Friends may call from 2 to 5 pm on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk where a Christian wake service will begin at 1:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Norwalk with Rev. Anthony Recker officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Norwalk.
