EASTMAN FUNERAL HOME 419-929-3781 Margaret E. Shaw, age 90, of New London, died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at her home. She was born November 6, 1918 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, daughter of the late James A. and Anna May (Combs) Conn. Margaret was a 1936 graduate of Mount Vernon High School. She moved to Lorain in the early 1940's and to Fitchville in 1990. She had been a Sheffield Lake school bus driver from 1973 until 1988. In earlier years Margaret enjoyed bowling and golf. She spent later years crocheting and working crossword puzzles. She is survived by her children, Jim (Ann) Shaw of Fitchville, Jerry Lee (Sue) Shaw of Union City, New Jersey, Michael Allen (Marge) Shaw of Edgewater, Florida and Richard (Rosie) Shaw of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Victor Shaw in 1972 her son, Foster Shaw in 1975, and her sisters, Grace, Louise, Wilma, Betty and Irene. Friends may call from from 2 ' 4 and 6 ' 8 Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 14, with Pastor Jamie Stewart officiating.
