Margaret Stevens

Margaret Stevens, age 76, of New London, died on Monday, February 16, 2026, at The Laurels of New London. Born May 25, 1949 in Harold, Kentucky, she spent most of her life in the New London area. Margaret married John Paul Stevens on July 9, 1985 and he preceded her in death.

An avid gardener, Margaret cherished time spent outdoors. She was a member of the New London Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with loved ones. Family meant everything to Margaret, and she loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in recent years.

Survivors include Margaret’s daughter, Teresa (Milford) Morrow of Spencer; grandchildren, Anthony (Sarah) Morrow, Nicholas (Jocelyn) Morrow, and Alicia Morrow; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Velma Cole of New London; and a brother, Mike McKinney of New London.

In addition to her husband, John, Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Osco and Sylvia (Damron) McKinney; and a brother, Dean McKinney.

Per Margaret’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time. The Eastman Funeral Home of New London is honored to assist the family with their arrangements.
