Margaret ("Peg") Louise Ziegler, 83, died on November 22, 2025, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loving family.

Peg was born in October 1942 in Ashland, to the late Gilbert and Helen Marie (nee Moody) Walker. She was a 1960 graduate of Bowling Green High School and a 1963 graduate of the Toledo School of Nursing.

After a brief nursing career, she devoted her life of steadfast Christian faith to her loving husband of 61 years, Dale; and her children, Brent (Kim), Randy (Ali) and Connie (Ranjan).

An avid bird-watcher and women's volleyball fan, she worked at Rochester Manufacturing; managed the office of the Lorain County Fair; served on the Board of Well-Help; and served as a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Wellington, where she helped prepare countless meals.

Peg was the proud grandmother of Zak, Morgan (John), Zeke, Jacoby (Connor), Jared, Nathan, Andrew and Hannah; and the doting great-grandmother of Knox, Dayle, Clay, Billy and Jack. The sister of Ron, she was preceded in death by her siblings Joyce and Dick, and her grandson Zef.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, November 28, at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main Street, Wellington, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 6:00–8:00 PM. A family graveside burial service will take place at Brighton Township Cemetery on Saturday, November 29, at 9:00 AM. A memorial service will be held afterwards at First Baptist Church, 125 Grand Ave., Wellington beginning at 11:00 AM. The memorial service will also be available via livestream at www.firstbaptistwellington.org.
