Margery H. (nee Kepler) Young, age 89, of Wellington died Thursday, May 31st at the Hospice Center in Lorain. Mrs. Young was born April 20, 1918 to the late William Arthur and Florence Marie (nee Cave) Kepler. She was a lifelong resident of Wellington and graduated from Wellington High School in 1936. She attended Ohio University. Mrs. Young worked in the family business, Wellington Implement, for several years. Supporting Wellington was a passion of hers. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ and also a member of Main Street Wellington. She enjoyed gardening and hosting neighbors at the family pool. She loved all kinds of animals and never missed the Lorain County Fair. Mrs. Young also loved to travel. Mrs. Young is survived by her two daughters, Patti A. Young of Wellington and Marta Young Tovkach of Cincinnati, a sister, LaVaughn Cope of Wellington, and twelve nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Richard L. Barbor, her 2nd husband Robert L. Young in 2000, and two brothers, Harold and Russell Kepler. Friends may call on Sunday, June 3 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St., Wellington. Following a private family burial at Greenwood Cemetery, a memorial service will be held at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 140 S. Main St., Wellington on Monday at 11 am with Rev. Brian Burke officiating.
