Norwalk, Ohio - Margo Ortner, 71, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Friday evening, April 13, 2018, in her home. She was born April 20, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Julius J. and Alice E. (Clark) Krebs, and was a lifelong area resident. Margo was a member of the Clarksfield Grange, and was a former employee of Jennings Ready Mix, Farm Credit, and Fanny Farmer Candy Company. She enjoyed cooking, canning, the outdoors, and making wine. Margo is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jim Ortner, by her sons, Brian K. (Lynette) Gainok of Greenwich, Ohio, and Mark E. Gainok of Norwalk, Ohio, by her step son, Rusty (Jenny) Ortner of Knoxville, Tennessee, and by 5 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Ron Krebs of Huron, Ohio, and Glenn (Rita) Krebs of Vickery, Ohio. Margo was preceded in death by her brothers, Allen, and Cliff Krebs. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. There will be no service.
