Obituary

Marian K. Jameyson, 89, of Wellington died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Mercy Regional in Lorain. She was born on March 25, 1922 in Elyria to the late Antone and Irene (nee Schmitz) Linden. Marian has been a resident of the Wellington area for over 70 years. Marian enjoyed trips to Lakeside, where she enjoyed watching the lake, birds and squirrels as well as the people. She also loved her car and liked to take trips just to drive or to go shopping with her daughters. Marian will also be remembered as a good cook who always made sure that there was something at the table that everyone would enjoy. Above all Marian loved her grandsons and cherished every moment she spent with them. Marian is survived by her daughters Debra (Jack) Cochrane of Amherst and Karen (Barry) Starkey of Lagrange, and grandchildren Jack (Alison Marty) and Bradley Cochrane both of Amherst and Barry Jameyson 'Jamie' Starkey and Muffin the cat of Lagrange. Marian is also survived by her twin sister Marie Campbell of Amherst. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 70 years Lyle in May of 2010. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, December 18 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m., Fr. James Reymann officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington. Donations can be made to St. Patricks Catholic Church, 512 N. Main St., Wellington.
