Marie E. Fulkerson (nee Boice), 83, of Wellington passed away at her home surrounded by her loving children on October 5, 2011. She was born February 24, 1928 to the late John and Ina Boice in Huntington. She lived most of her life in Wellington. Marie retired from the Nova Telephone Company and she spent her remaining years spending time with her family. She was the matriarch of the family and she was the glue that held her family together. She will be sadly missed by all. She had a love for horses and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making crafts. She also loved to play cards and gave her family many laughs. Marie is survived by her sons, Larry (Julie) Duncan, of Norwalk, Alan (Leigh-Anne) Duncan, of Galloway; daughters, Kathy Guess, of Wellington. Joyce (Doug) Moore, of Pittsfield; 4 stepchildren, Lloyd (Brenda) Lindsey, of Nova, Debbie (Bill) Singleton, of Grafton, Jimmy (Kaye) Lindsey, of Ashland, Douglas Fulkerson, of Elyria; 28 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Biscuit. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry O. Lindsey and Robert O. Fulkerson; 1 grandchild, Traci Rae and 1 great grandchild, Paul Ryan. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, Harold and Bobby and sisters, Mabel, Netta, Dorothy and her twin sister, Marian. Visitation will be Sunday, October 9 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
