Marie E. Lloyd, 90, of LaGrange, died Saturday, December 23, 2023 at home surrounded by family. Born on April 29, 1933, in Tazewell VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edna (nee Lambert) Remines. Marie grew up in Virginia and moved to Wellington over 60 years ago.

Marie worked for Forest City Technologies in Wellington for 30 years. She attended the Cross Pointe Community Church for several years. Marie enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, shopping and decorating her home. Most of all she cherished time with family especially her great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Brenda (Gary Walker) Sickels, of Oberlin, Sonny (Vicki) Adkins, of Fayetteville NC, Rick Adkins, of Lorain, Diane (Bud) Brasee, of Wellington, Randy Adkins, of Grafton, and Jody (Brian) Birchfield, of Wellington; many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, Zoey, Zane, Claire, Brandon, Bradley, Kylie, Myranda, Haylie, Tommy, and Annabell. Marie was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Adkins and George Lloyd; daughter Donna Stanfield; and brother Vernon Remines.
