Marilyn Jean Aker, 86, of Homerville, died Monday, March 3, 2014 of natural causes. She was born on June 28, 1927 in Ashland Co. to the late Orrville and Wanda (Fridline) Swope. Marilyn was a lifelong resident of the Homerville area. Marilyn attended and graduated from Sullivan High School in 1945 and was active with their alumni group. She was a member of the Sullivan Congregational Church. Marilyn is survived by her son Danny Aker of Homerville, and grandsons Brian Aker of Chicago, and Bruce Aker of Wellington. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2000, and her son David in 2006. A private burial will take place at Sullivan Southview Cemetery at a later date.
