Marilyn Jean Becker, 73, of Wellington, died Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Elms Nursing Home. Marilyn was born September 20, 1936 to the late Henry and Norma (nee Sabin) Gehringer. She was a 1954 graduate of Camden High School and has lived in the Camden and Wellington area most of her life. Marilyn worked for a time at the bowling alley in Oberlin. She enjoyed playing cards and attending the Chapter 47 Camping Club campouts. Marilyn is survived by her husband Emil Becker; a son, Gary (Diane) Brill of Henrietta Twp.; a daughter, Nancy Marshal of Elyria; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Brill and a granddaughter, Rebecca Brill. She is also survived by a brother, Don (Betty) Gehringer of Kipton, and a sister Deloris (Allan) Todd of Wakeman Twp. Marilyn was preceded in death by a son, David Brill. Friends will be received on Friday, September 17 at the Pittsfield Community Church, 17026 St. Rt. 58, from 1 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 2 p.m. Rev. Ken Gerhardt will officiate. Burial will follow at Camden Township Cemetery.
