Marilyn R. Cleveland, 62, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 in Fisher Titus Medical Center. She was born in Torrington, Connecticut on October 7, 1953, and came to this area in 1989 from Torrington. She enjoyed cooking, loved to read, and was an avid Cleveland Indians, and Browns fan. Marilyn was a member, and Past Exalted Ruler, of Elks Lodge # 730. She had an appreciation for the holidays and spending them with her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Marilyn is survived by her companion of 17 years, Frank Mount, of Norwalk, Ohio, by her children, James W. (Jaymie Baker) Cleveland II, and Geoffrey A. Cleveland, both of Sandusky, Ohio, by her grandchildren, AJ Cleveland, Zander "Goose" Cleveland, Hayden Cleveland, and Landon "Alf" Cleveland. She is also survived by her father, Victor P. Reis of Torrington, Connecticut, by her brothers, V. Peter Reis, and Gerald Reis, both of Torrington, by eight nieces and nephews, and by her former husband, James L. Cleveland of Sandusky, Ohio. Friends may call on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed by an Elk's service at 4:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Inurnment will be in Torrington, Connecticut.
