Marilyn Irene Distler, 74, of Wakeman, died on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 25, 1945, the daughter of Albert and Mary (Phalen) Shemitz.

Marilyn was a prolific seamstress and quilter and enjoyed cooking.  Marilyn is survived by her sons; David Distler and Matthew (Pauline) Distler, sister, Georgia (Pete) Butt of Florida.  Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and husband, George Distler.
