Norwalk, Ohio - Marilyn L. Walton, 83, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in Fisher-Titus Medical Center. She was born July 25, 1932 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Frank B. and Anna M. (Foltz) Ortner. Marilyn was raised in this area, had lived in Michigan and Kentucky, and returned to Norwalk in 1978. She was a member of St. Stephens United Church of Christ, Sandusky, Ohio. Marilyn retired from Wikel Manufacturing of Sandusky, Ohio in 2000, and had worked at P & R Hardware, Norwalk, Ohio. She enjoyed reading. Marilyn is survived by her children, Nancy M. (Robert) Perkins of Norwalk, Ohio, Caroline L. (Randy) Dicken of Punta Gorda, Florida, and Theresa J. (Dave) Parmley of Warner Robbins, Georgia. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Carrie Ohlmacher, Victoria Wilson, Brandon Phillips, Crystal Bowen, Ansley Lamb, Alyssa Lamb, Kelly Camp, and Brian Perkins, and by her great grandchildren, Isabella, Orion, Mia, Zoe, Carly, Nathan, Paisley, Katie, Tyler, and Sydney. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, in 2005, by her brothers, Edward, Donald, James, and Gerald Ortner, Lynn Harriman, and by her sister, Phyllis Howard. Friends may call on Friday, February, 26, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Interment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, Ohio.
