Marilynn Katherine (nee Buell) Haas, 73, of Wellington died unexpectedly Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at her residence. Marilynn worked at Shepherd Chevrolet for 26 years and McGhee Chevrolet for 5 years. She was a part owner of Steamex of Wellington. Marilynn had also worked for Lents Gas Station, Wellington Auto Parts, Forest City and the Goodie Barn. She was a notary public. Marilynn loved to listen to the police scanner and attended garage sales and auctions. Her other hobbies included playing cards, knitting and sewing. Survivors include her husband, Wilbur H. Haas; daughters, Marla Senghas, Marci (Tom) Kehoe; son, Greg (Barb) Haas; brother, Ken (Mary) Buell; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and a niece and nephew. Marilynn was preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Doris (nee Whitney) Buell and brother, Myron. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 19 at 2 p.m. with visitation starting at 1 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington with Rev. Brian Burke officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Wellington Office on Aging, 115 Willard Memorial Square, Wellington 44090, or to the American Heart Association, 1689 E. 115 St., Cleveland, 44106.
