Marjorie Alberta Conry (Thomas) of 26 Breezewood Drive in Norwalk, Ohio passed away at 0605 December 24th while a resident at Gaymont Care and Rehabilitation in Norwalk. Born July 27, 1926, she was 95. She was the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Charles F. Thomas of Wakeman, Ohio. Her husband of more than 65 years, Hugh Francis Conry, also of Wakeman, predeceased her in 2012 at the age of 89. They were married September 27, 1947 in Wakeman.

Marjorie was a graduate of Wakeman High School in 1944 where she played the saxophone, piano, and violin.  She also sang in the HS Glee Club. Following High School she attended the Oberlin School of Commerce commencing in 1945 and was then employed for a number of years at the Lorain County Health Department in Oberlin. A life-long homemaker, she was very skilled at making quilts, basketry, and advanced sewing projects. Visiting antique sales was one of her most enjoyable pastimes.

She leaves two children, Kevin Alan Conry of Asheville, NC and Kathleen Marie Pflieger of Dayton, Ohio.

In addition, she has seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Per her wishes, a graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, December 30, 2021, 10:00 AM at St.  Paul Cemetery in Norwalk prior to burial next to her husband.

A small reception will be held after the service in the Gathering Space at St. Paul Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Gaymont Care and Rehabilitation on Norwood Avenue in Norwalk.
