Marjorie Ann Messersmith, 85, of Wellington died Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Allen Community Hospital in Oberlin. She was born August 28, 1923 in Harristown, IL near Decatur and graduated from Niantic High School. Marjorie is survived by her husband, Patrick; three children, Gary Gene Hickman of Dallas, TX, Randy J. Hickman of Albuquerque, NM and Sheri Hickman of Wellington; four step-children, Cindy Ebenger of Las Vegas, NV, Patty Rodgers of Avon Lake, Mark Messersmith of West Lake and Matt Messersmith of Columbus; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Marjorie was preceded in death by 6 siblings. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Life Assembly of God Church, 108 West Street, Wellington.
