IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marjorie Jean
Mull
November 30, 1950 – March 2, 2024
Marjorie Jean Mull, 73, of Pittsfield, passed away Saturday March 2, 2024 at home. Born on November 30, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Milton and Jeannette M. (nee Bucholz) Heatwole. Marjorie was a life long resident of the Wellington and Pittsfield area and a 1969 graduate of Wellington High School.
Marjorie retired from Inservco but also worked for the Village Market and Missler's in the Deli. She also worked in the Wellington Schools as a teacher's aid. A talented cook, Marjorie enjoyed catering with Janice Brill and Sandy Diedrick, and around the farm, she always made sure everyone was well fed. Being a farmer's wife and a farm mother, she was dedicated to attending and camping at the County Fairs, including Richland, Ashland, and Lorain. She would travel on the Wagon Trains with the horses, again making sure everyone was fed. Marjorie was an integral part of the maple syrup production on the farm as well. She had been active with Pittsfield Community Church, and at one time had sung in the choir.
Marjorie enjoyed reading and working on puzzles, spending time tending to her vegetable garden and canning the harvest. She also liked to play bingo, make ceramics, collect elephants, and take monthly shopping trips with her friend Betty. At heart Marjorie was a caretaker, and cherished her family and making sure they were attended to, whether it was making a special meal, playing cards, or just spending time together.
Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Lloyd Mull; children, Marci (David Keller) Bowman, and Mike (Kristyn) Mull; grandchildren, Carrie (Jason), Jill (Nick), Madalyn, Marshal, and Lillian; great grandchildren, Savannah, Mason, Cole, and Amelia; and a sister Helen Simonson; daughter at heart, Kathryn (Craig) Campbell; and many nieces, nephews and a large extended family. Marjorie was preceded in death by her siblings, Judy Morning, Tom Heatwole, Laureen Becker, and Linda Otto.
A graveside service for the family will be held at Pittsfield East Cemetery. Visitation and Celebration for the public will be held on Saturday, March 9 at the Pittsfield Community Church, 17026 State Route 58, beginning at 11 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be shared online at www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.
