Marjorie Lucille Roosa-Halada, 80, of Oberlin, died Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Welcome Nursing Home. She was born on September 27, 1931 to the late Russell and Lydia (Stager) Klingler. Marjorie grew up in the Sullivan area and attended Sullivan High School.
Marjorie worked for C. E. Ward Co. in New London and then retired from Forest City Technologies in Wellington. She was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church in Wellington. Marjorie was a dedicated fan of the both the Cleveland Indians and the Browns. She also enjoyed collecting and decorating her home.
Marjorie is survived by her children Diana (Robert) Travis of Elyria, Kenneth (Tina) Roosa of Lorain, and Vicki (Stuart) Hartman of Oberlin, as well as 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Robert and Alvin Klingler and Barbara King. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Halada, her son Charles Arthur Roosa, and sisters Betty Musser, Catherine Styer, and Martha Welch.
Friends and family will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St. Wellington, where services will be held on Monday beginning at 11 a.m., Pastor Mark Petric officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
