Mark S. Censi, 65, of Norwalk, passed away on May 20, 2026, at University Hospitals in Cleveland after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 2, 1960, to the late Almerico and Nila (Diehr) Censi.
Mark grew up in Bellevue and graduated from Bellevue High School in 1978. He worked at Jamac in Sandusky, was a co-owner of Three Chocolatiers, and later concluded his career at WestRock in North Carolina.
Mark was a devoted husband and father who brought joy to everyone who knew him. An avid Cleveland sports fan, he especially loved cheering on the Cleveland Browns, even during the toughest seasons. He treasured spending time with family and friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed trips to the beach and watching movies.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sherry Censi; his son, Nathaniel Censi; his sister, Kim Censi; his cousins, Janet Scagnetti, Dave & Wendy Scagnetti; his nieces and nephews, Kandace Estep, Jacyln Rohr, and Kevin Rohr; great-niece, Storm Hardy; great-nephews, Corbin Rohr, and Kolsen Rohr; his in-laws, Charles Estep, Michelle “Missy” Estep, and Kevin Hall; as well as many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by his sisters-in-law, Betty Hall and Joanne Oney; mother-in-law, Betty A. Estep; and niece, Nicole Fertig.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., in Norwalk. A funeral service will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. and burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Online condolences and expressions of sympathy can be shared at www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com.
