Mark K. Ott, 69, of Kipton, passed away at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Mark was born in Norwalk on December 6, 1956, to Arnold “Joe” and Martha Ott and grew up in New London, graduating with the New London High School Class of 1976.
Mark worked at Green Circle Growers in the maintenance department and retired in 2022 after 38 years with the company. He also served as an electrician for the Lorain County Fairgrounds and was a member of the Wellington American Legion Post 8.
He loved fishing, barbequing and mowing his lawn. Mark could often be found relaxing on his porch or sitting by a fire.
He leaves behind his companion of 32 years, Joanne Marchand; siblings, Arnold “Butch” (Janet) Ott, Kevin (Becky) Ott, Judy (Mike) Moffit; stepchildren, Dan (Julie) and Steven (Bobbi) Marchand; nephews, A.J. (Courtney) Ott, Quinn (Michelle) Thomas, Seth (Autumn) Thomas, Ethan (Jenny) Ott, Dustin (Leslie) Ott, Trevor (Jenn) Ott, Michael (Monica) Moffit; and nieces, Amy Ott, Janet Kraus. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold “Joe” and Martha Ott and stepson, Andy Marchand.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20 from 4 – 8 pm at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21 at 11 am. Burial will follow at Camden Twp. Cemetery. Donations are encouraged to the American Heart Association in memory of Mark.
