Martha "Marti" Fink shuffled off this mortal coil on December 11, 2024. A longtime resident of Norwalk, Ohio, Marti also resided for a time in Amherst and Bucyrus. After graduating from Norwalk High School in 1969, Marti began working as a telephone operator for GTE, which turned into a 33-year-long career in the telephone industry and a passion for collecting vintage telephones.

Marti was a member of the Norwalk Eagles and the Norwalk Elks, as well as a long-time member of the Antique Telephone Collectors Association. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters, going to estate sales, and boating on Lake Erie. Marti loved old movies and jazz music and was a very witty writer of poetry and letters. Her unique sense of humor could always be counted on for a quick retort and lively conversation.

Marti is survived by her sisters, Patricia Douglas, Debbie Landenberg, and her twin Barb Asmus and spouse Roger Asmus, and sister-in-law Judy Fink; as well as several nieces and nephews including Mike Fink, Terri Fink Feyedelem, Becky Burr Ducat, and Kellie Landenberg Pancost. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Sara Fink, brother Robert Fink, niece Robyn Landenberg, and longtime friend Patricia McCreedy.

A small private service for family and close friends will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, December 20 at Walker Eastman Heydinger Funeral Home in Norwalk. Graveside service will follow.
