Martha C. (Sharfenberg) Williams, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at her daughter's home in Jacksonville, FL.  She was born on December 9, 1923 in Bellevue, Ohio to the late Charles and Edith (Wagner) Sharfenberg.

Martha enlisted in the United States Navy in 1944 and met her husband Tom Williams while in the Navy.  They married in 1945 and were married for 45 years. Martha worked as a telephone operator for Northern Ohio Telephone Company in Norwalk.  She lived in Jacksonville, FL and retired at the age of 88 from Hardage Giddens Funeral Home where she worked for more than 30 years.

She is survived by her children; Janice (Ralph) Sandlin, Kathey Murden, Ron (Vanessa) Williams, Tim (Tracy) Williams; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Robert "Bobby" Williams, on May 21, 2019; her step-mother Beatrice Preston Sharfenberg; and brother, Charles Sharfenberg.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 1 pm Riverside Cemetery in Monroeville, Ohio with military honors.
