Martha J (Walker) Weatherbie, 83, resident of Willard, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at her home.She was born April 22, 1938 in Willard to Jay C Walker and Dorothy (Blessing) Walker and had been a lifelong resident of Willard/Greenwich area.

Martha was a graduate of Greenwich High School class of 1956. She was employed at Pioneer Balloon Rubber, Asher's Restaurant in Greenwich, and retired from South Central High School as a kitchen aide. She loved cooking - known for her pies; playing euchre, solitaire and especially enjoyed being with family. She was a member of Ripley Church on Edwards Road, Greenwich.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth D Weatherbie; three children, Karen (Chuck) Went of Shelby; Kathy (Tim) Burke of Columbus; and Kendra Clagett of Willard. Three grandchildren Jeani (Billy) Bishop of Florida, Kenneth (Kaylee) Clagett of Willard, and Kiersten Weatherbie of Dayton; and great-grandson, Daniel Allen Clagett.

Siblings Mary Jane Eitle in Mt Gilead; Nancy Doyle in Pennsylvania, Edna Swartz in Willard.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Caroline Dunseth, Ida Biernat, Bertha Foshag and brothers David Walker, and Jay A. Walker.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, April 14, from 10 a.m. until the time of services beginning at 11 a.m. at Ripley Church, 4130 Edwards Road, Greenwich. Burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery.
