Obituary

Martin Scott Hasemann, 49, of Wellington died Friday, July 22, 2011 at Metro Health in Cleveland. He was born in Erath Louisiana on December 20, 1961 to Gordon and Connie (Melancon) Hasemann. After graduating high school Martin proudly served in the United States Army for 12 years. He served during the Bosnian conflict and Desert Storm. He worked as a Senior Network Engineer with Rosetta Marketing. Martin was an active member of the Society of Creative Anachronism and served as the Herald for the Shire of Falcons Quarry. He was a talented Rapier Fighter and created many beautiful things as a wood turner. Martin is survived by his wife, Sylvie Michaud of Wellington, his mother, Connie Hasemann of Louisiana, his daughter, Frances Hasemann of Kansas, and step-children Melanie and Kevin Michaud; and mother and father-in-law Jean and Jeanne Michaud both of Quebec Canada. Marin is also survived by his dear friend whom he thought of as a brother, Cory Gallatin as well as Shane Brandes and Hilary Gregg. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon and his brother, Keston. A memorial service will be held on'Wednesday, July 27 at 4 p.m. with visitation starting at'2 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington.
