Mary A. Behner (nee Youngless, age 94, of Wellington, Ohio passed to eternal rest on March 11, 2017 at the Hospice Care Unit at Elms Nursing Facility in Wellington, Ohio. Mary was born on October 28, 1922 in Camden Township, Ohio and had been a lifelong resident of Lorain County, primarily living in Wellington. For many years she worked in various positions in area nursing homes, mostly for the Justice family at Wellington Manor. Survivors include her sons Robert (Kendra) of Vermillion, OH, Russel of Sandusky, OH and daughters Sharon Gum and Nancy Snyder both of Wellington. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Alva B Behner in 1976; parents John and Anna Youngless; brothers, Leo, Norman (Pete), Martin (Buss), and John (Bud); sisters, Pearl (Anney), Edna (Moses), Marcella (Enderby), Marietta (Kinter) and Marie (McClurg). Per Mary's request, services were private. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to St. Jude's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 (Mary's favorite charity).
