Mary Charlotte Jackson, age 89, of New London, passed away peacefully at The Laurels of New London, on June 26, 2015. Charlotte was born January 20, 1926 to the late Frank and Fanny (Carver) Kramb and grew up in the Greenwich area before marrying Dale Jackson and moving to New London. Charlotte was a wonderful, loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother and leaves behind many friends and family members who she always had a smile for. She worked at C.E. Ward for many years, Thomas Creative Apparel, and with her husband owned and operated "The Inn" restaurant in New London. Charlotte is survived by daughters, Billie Ann (Howard) Duta of Medina and Barbara Jackson of Seven Hills, Ohio; sons, Larry (Diane) Jackson of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Garry (Cathy) Jackson of New London; son-in-law, James Mitchell of New London; daughter-in-law, Nancy Jackson of The Villages, Florida; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandsons, Landon and Cameron and numerous nieces and nephews. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Fanny Kramb; husband of 67 years, Dale; daughter, Bonnie Mitchell; son, Barry Jackson; sisters, Isabel Smith and Grace Howard and brother, Gerald Kramb. The Jackson family will greet friends 6-8 pm Monday, June 29, 2015 at Eastman Funeral Home, New London where a service will be held 11 am Tuesday. Burial will immediately follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, New London. In lieu of flowers, her family requests memorial contributions can be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870 or a charity of your choice.
