Mary Ann Evans, 64, of Wellington, died Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the Elms Retirement Village. Born in Cleveland on June 27, 1947 to the late Bernard and Stella (nee Baranowski) Stemplinski, Mary Ann settled in the Wellington area nearly 30 years ago. Mary worked for and retired from Valspar in Wellington and from Premium in West Salem. She loved her dogs and found great joy in showing them at dog shows and also doing field trials. She was a member of the Belgium Malinois Club and the Brittany Club. Survivors include her husband, James 'Jim' Evans; brother, Bernie (Ann) Stemplinski and sister-in-law, Jeanie. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Edmond. Visitation will be held from noon until the 2 p.m. memorial service on Saturday, July 30 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Father James Reymann will officiate.
