Mary E. Fugitt (nee Miklush), 75, of LaGrange, passed away Sat., November 22, 2014 at New Life Hospice surrounded by family. She was born April 17, 1939 in Jefferson, PA. She graduated from South High School in Cleveland in 1958. After graduating she became employed by the Cleveland Public Library, where she had many fond memories. In 1966 she started working at Majestic Molding in Elyria, later becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling to various casinos. Dash hounds were a passion of hers. She was happiest hosting family dinners. She married her soul mate, Richard, Sept. 19, 1975. Together they raised 5 children, residing in Elyria then LaGrange. She is survived by her husband of 39 yrs., Richard C. Fugitt; 5 daughters, Kimberly King of Elyria, Barbara Fitz of Oberlin, Diana Horvath (David - deceased) of Wellington, Jennifer Whitehead (Don) of Elyria and Vicki Carroll (Michael - fiancé) of Elyria; sister, Pauline Ruemmele of Norwalk; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Friends may call Tues., Nov 25, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington.
