Mary Louella Giordano (Arnold), 82, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerry Giordano. She is survived by her children, David Files, Sherri (Michael) Oates, and Kimberly Files (wife, Tabitha Wilkens); grandchildren, Ashley Moore, Devan Oates, Heath Oates, and Olivia Badamy; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. Mary was born on August 2, 1943, and spent her entire life in Norwalk, a community she dearly loved. She retired from Circon ACMI after more than 30 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed reading, singing in the choir, volunteering at her church, the Norwalk Senior Center, and Stein Hospice, walking with friends at the Norwalk Reservoir, dancing with her husband at the Eagles, and going out to eat with friends. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family. Mary will be remembered for her sweet nature, kind heart, sense of humor, and the warmth she shared with everyone who knew her.
A visitation for Mary will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Woodlawn Cemetery, beginning at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Norwalk Public Library 46 W.
