Mary K. Pay, 63, of Savannah, died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Hospice of North Central Ohio in Ashland. She was born on June 17, 1949, in Willard and was raised in Ruggles. Mary lived in Texas and Alabama before moving back to Ashland county 20 years ago.
She graduated from Mapleton High School in 1967. Mary and her husband Carl owned and operated C&M Country Café in Savannah.
Mary enjoyed camping and traveling and loved to cook.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Carl; daughter, Michelle Cole of Delaware, Ohio; son, Mark (Shelia) Shonkwiler of Cordova, Alabama; step children, Shari (James) Regan, Scott (Teresa) Pay and Christopher (Meredith) Pay all of Ashland; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; parents, Fred and Dorothy Copsey of Greenwich and siblings, Eric (Sue) Copsey of Ruggles, Rick (Nancy) Copsey of Michigan and Linda (Mark) Simmons of West Salem. Mary was preceded in death by her brother, James Copsey and grandson, Mark JW Shonkwiler.
