Mary Ann Sweet, 76, of Norwalk, Ohio, daughter of the now deceased Tony and Edna Leroux, went to be with the Lord, on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Robert Sweet, whom she married in July of 1995.  She is also survived by her siblings, Michael (Rita) Leroux, Joseph (Cathy) Leroux, Edward (Lisa) Leroux, and Margaret (Chester) Gibson; in-laws, Patty (Bruce) Braddock and Jim Sweet; many nieces and nephews, several cousins, and many friends.  She is also survived by her four legged companion, "Sugar".

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sisters, Diane Perry, Carol Meyer, Frances McKay, and brothers, Jackie Leroux, Richard Leroux, brother in-law, David Perry, nephew, Timothy Leroux, and four legged companion, "Oreo".

Mary loved music, especially rock and roll and country music.  She enjoyed trips with Robert and going to fairs and festivals, BINGO, walking the dog on her scooter, and therapy pool sessions at the Norwalk Recreation Center.

Mary's last wish was to have a small gathering of friends and family for prayers at her graveside service, which will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, beginning at 11 a.m. at Meadow Green Cemetery, on Bogart Road in Huron.  Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, Norwalk is assisting the family with Mary's arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Ave., Norwalk, Ohio 44857 or Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870, Online condolences may be expressed by visiting their website at www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com
