Mary J. Lippert, 86, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away on August 23, 2025, at the Norwalk Memorial Home. She was born on January 5, 1939, in Norwalk, to the late John and Beth (Bartow) Timman.
Mary was a lifelong resident of the area and was a 1957 graduate of Norwalk High School. She married the love of her life Robert Lippert on February 11, 1961. She later became a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, where she was devoted to her faith and enjoyed helping with funeral luncheons. Mary was also active in the Women's Firefighters Auxiliary and looked forward to gathering with her monthly women's lunch group. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She made it a priority to attend all of their extracurricular activities and was always their biggest supporter.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Locke, Bob Lippert, and Joan (Chase) Heyman; her grandchildren, Liz Oney, Josh (Jen) Meyer, and Adam (Justine) Meyer, Ally (Dustin) Lane, Sammy Lippert, Sophie Lippert, Cody (Katelyn) McCoy, and Ty McCoy; her great-grandchildren, Hailee Oney, Brady Singer, Drake Meyer, Mia Meyer, Brianna Meyer, Connor Meyer, Carter Lane, Anderson Lane, Paxton McCoy, and Blake McCoy; and her sibling, Henry (Marty) Timman.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in passing by her husband, Robert Lippert in 2010; and brothers, James Timman, and Richard Timman.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, OH. A funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main St., Norwalk, OH beginning at 10:00 a.m. The burial will take place following the conclusion of the funeral Mass at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions made in Mary's name can be made out to the St. Paul High School Football Program and or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
