Mary E. Meisler, 93, passed away on Saturday August 29, 2020 in Gaymont Nursing Center. She was born to the late Davis H. and Mary A. (Staats) Bell on March 26, 1927 in Smyrna, Delaware and has lived in the Norwalk area since 1957 with her family. Mary was a homemaker and former President of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Norwalk, Ohio, she also assisted in running concessions for the Lefty Grove baseball games.

Mary enjoyed cooking, cleaning, vacationing, traveling, watching the golf channel on television, supporting her children's and grandchildren's sporting activities and spending time with her family, relaxing at home.

Mary is survived by her children, James G. (Christine) Meisler Jr. of Castalia, Ohio and Kristi M. Krupp (Jody L. Cleland) of Norwalk, Ohio, by her grandchildren, Mark (Jana) Meisler, Mike (Elizabeth) Meisler, Matt (Meghan) Meisler, Corrie (Derrik) Olcott and Amanda (Joey) Pirrone, and several great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Terrie M. Meisler of Norwalk, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, James G. Meisler Sr. in 2016, by two children, Richard E. Meisler in 2020, and Susan Meisler in infancy, and by two brothers.

There will be no visitation, and a private graveside service will be held at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, Ohio, Rev. Dr. Brian Oglesbee will officiate.
