Mary B. Rugg, 85, of Reno Nevada and formerly of Wellington, died Sunday, April 6, 2014. She was born on June 11, 1928 in Davidson County North Carolina to the late Charles and Rosa (nee Beck) Briggs. Mary moved to the Wellington area in 1968. Mary graduated from Shelton College with a bachelor's degree in Christian education. She worked for many years for King Realty as a realtor. Mary was a member of the Sorosis book club and was a very active member of the Penfield Community Church where her husband was the minister. Mary was a loving homemaker who always looked after her family. Mary is survived by her children Charles "Bill" Rugg Jr. of CA, Linda Wulf of NV, Robert Rugg of Toledo, and Jon Rugg of CA; 3 grandchildren Samuel Rugg, Emily Rugg, and Brandon Rugg; a sister Laverne Burall also survives. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years Rev. Charles Rugg in 2008 as well as 5 sisters and 1 brother. A memorial service will take place on April 24, 2014 beginning at  6:30 at the Penfield Community Church with  Pastor Jeff Braden officiating, burial will take place at Huntington Cemetery.
